Christmas Magic
When I think of Christmas magic as a child, I can almost smell the cookies baking in the oven, hear the jingle of Santa's sleigh bells, and see the eight tiny reindeer flying across the moon on Christmas Eve.
As the years passed, the once pure and magical Christmas of my childhood transformed into a bustling affair, overshadowed by the practicalities of life. The hustle and bustle of buying things no one truly needs seemed to eclipse the true magic of Christmas.
I believe each of us has a unique and personal connection to Christmas, a connection that can never be truly lost. We need to remember what once was, back when our eyes were wide with wonder and excitement.
I want to rekindle that magic—the flutter of anticipation at the thought of catching a glimpse of the elusive Santa Claus. The thrill, the delight, that tiny spark within you that glistens with the spirit of Christmas. The wonder, the Awe, in seeing all the beautiful twinkling Christmas lights brightening the darkest of nights. A warm crackling fire with stockings hanging from its mantle waiting patiently for Santa's arrival. In the background, Christmas music fills the air, sparking pure joy and making your heart smile. Outside the window, a blanket of fluffy white snow settles on the ground, the light making it sparkle like diamonds.
Don't lose that magic. Hold it with you in your heart. This feeling, this spark, only comes into your life once a year. Enjoy it, savor it, and maybe, just maybe, you can take a small piece of that magic and carry it with you throughout the year.
Quoting "The Grinch"
"Maybe Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas.....perhaps....means a little bit more!"
Christmas is not just a holiday. The magic is silent. You don't hear it—you feel it, you know it, and you believe it.
So have a very magical Christmas season, everyone!
And dear friends, my Christmas gift to you...is ME....that's right, another year of friendship!
